Building Bridges is an artistic research project funded by the City of Vienna and conducted at the Filmakademie Wien/ mdw. It is co-lead by the social scientist Paulus Wagner and the film and theatre director Barbara Wolfram.

The multiple year project (2021 – 2025) aims at exploring the ability of film to establish communication between social groups that find themselves in a situation of political polarization. It further also wants to establish a cooperation model of social science and film.

The Project is funded by the City of Vienna and conducted at the Filmacademy Vienna/ mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
